Subject: study advice?
I would like to be able to help develop. I've been using typo3 for a few months now. I would like to be able to start out making templates and eventually develop extensions. I'm planning to start work on an A.A.S. in Internet Application Development next year, but I'd like to get a jump start now.

What subjects should I study? What order should I study them in? Should I get books or will I find good materials online?

Any help will be appreciated

Jason,

Excellent!!

For templates, start here where you will find documents and links.

For learning extension development, start here for a series of How-Tos that teach you about extension development.

Of course, these assume you know some PHP and MySQL. So you many need to get a book on these if you are new to them.

Also, for general TYPO3, this book seems okay. And here is one on Typoscript that is probably useful as well. I have read most of the first book. It is pretty good I think.

In Him,
Mark
