Change a Page Name (Pagetitle) - Basic

You can change the name (title) of a page any time.

1. From the TYPO3 Backend, find a page you want to rename.
2. For the purpose of learning, view the page and navigation on the website to see where the page title displays. The page title appears in the navigation menus. The page title can appear in the bread crumbs, which show the path to the page. And the page title is at the top of the page itself.
3. Return to the Backend. Click on the icon next to the page name and from the menu, click on Edit Page Properties.
4. On the page properties form modify the Pagetitle field and save the change.
5. In the page tree, notice that the change in the page title shows immediately.
6. To see the change on the website, go to the Frontend and view the menus and the page and note the changed page title. See that the change is made in all locations.
