If you have a given extension installed, but you want to go back to a previous version, then you can follow these steps. Why you might want to do this is if you upgrade to a new version and your website appears to break and you do not know why, then you want to fix it right away.
For the following steps, you must be logged in to the TYPO3 backend with administrative access.
1. Click on the Ext Manager module in the left column.
2. Choose "Import Extensions" on the dropdown menu.
3. Enter the extension name for the extension(i.e., wec_connector is for WEC Prayer Connector). If you do not know the exact name, enter a few keywords. For WEC extensions, just enter "WEC" to see the full list. Click on the Lookup button.
4. Find the extension you want to downgrade and click on the name.
5. Now select the version you want to go back to from the "Select Command" menu.
6. Then choose "Load details". This will import that version to your local server.
7. Finally, you must click on the Import/Update button to install it on your local server.
8. The given version of the extension will be installed. You can always upgrade at a later time.
