Edit Existing Text

To edit existing text using the Frontend Editor, login as a TYPO3 editor and navigate to the page on which you want to make changes.

1. Mousing over a content element will reveal an editing toolbar. Mouse over the content element you'd like to edit and click on the Edit icon.
2. When the Editing Form opens, you can change the Header (the content element's title) if you'd like to.
3. You can also change the Header's format. Choose H1 through H5 (generally size related options) or you can hid the header altogether by choosing Hidden.
4. Click on the Text tab.
5. Click inside the Rich Text Editor to make changes to the existing text. You can delete the text and start over, or make changes as necessary.
6. When you're done, click on the Save and Close button. Your changes will be visible immediately.
