Hide Login, Registration, or Search Icons

There may be times when you want to hide the login, registration, or search icons in a TV-Framework skin (see illustration). This can be easily accomplished from your TYPO3 Backend admin login.

 

1. Login to your TYPO3 Backend using an administrative login.
2. Using the Template tool, select the root page.
3. From the template dropdown menu, select Constant Editor.
4. In the Categories dropdown menu, select Site Constants.
5. Scroll down the page to the Login Page ID, Registration Page ID, or Search Page ID.
6. To remove the corresponding icon from your webpages, remove the Page ID from the field/s. Save the Site Constants' form when you're done. This will remove the Login/Registration/Search icons from the Frontend.
7. To restore a missing Login/Registration/Search icon, simply add the page id (PID) in the corresponding field in the Site Constants form.
