Use the Text Editor: Adding Links

You can create both text links and image links using the Rich Text Editor (RTE).

1. Use the Page Module and select the Page from the page tree that you would like to edit.
2. Next, either create a new Content Element (click on the Page with the Green Plus) or on the edit icon in an existing Content Element.
3. To create a text link, highlight the text you want to use as your anchor text (the link text) and then click on the Insert Web Link icon.
4. Select the link's destination. In this dialog box, you can select one of the pages from your website, a file to download, an external URL (a link that is not on your site), or an email link.
5. You can also create images that are links as well. First, insert an image, select it, and then click on the Insert Web Link icon.
6. Next, choose the link's destination. In our example, we'll choose an external URL and have a new window open when the link is clicked on.
