Use the Text Editor: Aligning Text
You can easily align text in the Rich Text Editor (often called the RTE).
- Use the Page Module and select the Page from the page tree that you would like to edit.
- Next, either create a new Content Element (click on the Page with the Green Plus) or on the edit icon in an existing Content Element.
- If the Content Element does not have a Header, it is a good habit to give it one now. Otherwise, scroll down to the RTE.
- To delete the existing text, you can click inside the RTE Text box and press Control-A and then press the delete key on your computer, or you can Click and drag over the text to highlight it and then press the delete key.
- Next, create some text. By default, the RTE will align the text to the left (Left Justify). Save your work and look at it in the Frontend by scrolling to the top or bottom of the form and click the Save and view document icon.
- Next, center align the text. Click on the Justify Center icon on the dashboard and then save and view your work.
- Next, align the text to the right. Click on the Justify Right icon. Save your work and view it in the Frontend.
- Finally, align the text on both margins by clicking the Justify Full icon. However, to see the results you will need to add a significant amount of text. Then save and view your work.
