Use the Text Editor: Cut, Copy, Paste, Undo, and Redo
When working with text in the Rich Text Editor, you can Copy and Paste, Cut and Paste, Undo your last action, and Redo your last action.
- Use the Page Module and select the Page from the page tree that you would like to edit.
- Next, either create a new Content Element (click on the Page with the Green Plus) or on the edit icon in an existing Content Element.
- To copy a selection, select a portion of text and click on the Copy selection icon.
- To paste text, click on the Paste from clipboard icon.
- To cut a section, select the text you want to cut and then press the Cut selection icon.
- Again, to paste the selection, position your cursor where you want the selection to begin and click on the Copy from clipboard icon.
- To undo an action, you can click on the Undoes your last action icon.
- In our example, we'll select some text and delete it. Then we'll restore it using the Undoes your last last action icon. After that, we'll redo the last action using the Redoes your last action icon.
- You can also use the Windows keyboard shortcuts.
To copy a selection, press Control-C.
To paste a selection press Control-V.
To cut a selection, press Control-C.
