Use the Text Editor: Use Numbering, Bullets, and Indents

You can easily number paragraphs, add bullet points, and indent paragraphs with the Rich Text Editor (RTE).

  1. Use the Page Module and select the Page from the page tree that you would like to edit.
  2. Next, either create a new Content Element (click on the Page with the Green Plus) or on the edit icon in an existing Content Element.
  3. To create a numbered list, click on the Ordered List icon and then type your content. Additional paragraphs will be numbered automatically when you press the Enter key.
  4. When you're done, scroll to the top or bottom and click the Save and view document icon to see your work in the Frontend.
  5. If you have single point that includes multiple paragraphs, you can continue without continuing the numbering. In our example, point 3 needs an additional paragraph. To create the appearance of a new paragraph without numbering it, hold down the Shift key and press Enter. If you want to include a space between the paragraphs, hold down the Shift key and press Enter twice. To continue numbering, simply press the Enter key.
  6. Next, let's create a bulleted list. Click on the Bulleted List icon and type some text.
  7. To end bulleted paragraphs, you can either press Enter twice or click on the Bulleted List icon.
  8. Next. let's look at indented paragraphs. Type some text and then click the Increase Indent icon. Successive paragraphs will be indented as well. To stop the indent, click on the Decrease Indent icon.
  9. When you are done, save your work and view it in the Frontend.
