This section contains all the products that are publically available from the Web-Empowered Church minsitry. Here you can find documents, data files, software, and training. The information here is targeted at developers, so you will see additional files that will not be included on the WEC User .com website. We also include beta versions, previous versions, and experimental versions.
Note: The installation files for released TYPO3 extensions are not available here and can be downloaded directly from the TYPO3 Extension Repository using the TYPO3 Extension Manager within the TYPO3 Backend.

WEC TYPO3 Starter Package

The goal of the WEC Starter Package (formerly known as the WEC Common Configuration) is to simplify the initial installation and setup of TYPO3 so you can get started right away. It provides a default set of templates and a site structure, along with the most commonly used extensions.

Templates

WEC has developed several sets of templates, with varying layouts and color schemes to help get you started. A template is a set of files and settings that define the overall appearance of your website and the way visitors navigate to change to different pages on the website. Templates ensure a common look and feel across the website, which is important to excellent web design because it provides a consistent user experience.

Devotional Journal Extension

The WEC Devotional Journal extension implements a devotional with a private personal journal for each user.

Discussion Forum Extension

The Discussion Forum extension allows you to create a simplified forum, blog (web log), or comment system on your website. The Discussion Forum is designed for one main topic on one page only.

eBible Extension

The WEC eBible extension automatically converts scripture references anywhere in your website to the full scripture text.

Flash Player Extension

The WEC Flash Player extension plays either MP3-formatted audio files or FLV-formatted video files inside a web browser.

Flash Presentation Extension

The WEC Flash Presentation extension displays an audio or video presentation that includes multiple individual charts that are displayed at the appropriate time in the presentation.

Map Extension

The WEC Map extension displays a Google map with markers that show a few locations such as your church and youth center, or the map can display all or a group of frontend users.

Prayer Connector Extension

The WEC Prayer Connector extension implements a connector community. A connector community is designed to help people that have a need or service find people who can address that need or use that service.

Servant Matcher Extension

The WEC Servant Matcher is a great way to connect people to service opportunities. If you want to connect people who want to help, then this extension will help you do that.

Sermons Management Extension

The Sermon Management System, or SMS for short, provides a streamlined process for making sermon resources available online, and allows your audience to view the sermon information in many different ways.

Staff Directory Extension

The staff directory provides a way to display your staff on your site, including name, email, phone, photos, biography, etc.

WEC Button Extension

The Web-Empowered Church Button Extension provides graphical buttons in a variety of colors and sizes. The button indicates support-for and involvement-in the Web-Empowered Church ministry.
