Section 1: Installing & Using a WEC Template Package
For information on obtaining a WEC template package, installing templates, and changing templates, please refer to "Section 1: Template Installation" of the WEC Template Users Manual.
Note that the WEC Templates rely on the use of external templates for the following extensions:
Searchbox for Indexed Search Engine “macina_searchbox”
News “tt_news”
Their template HTML can be found in Appendix IV.
Section 2: Developing Templates for WEC
2.1 Requirements: HTML and CSS
The HTML template should contain the WEC Copyright Notice in the header code of the HTML and CSS (see Appendix III).
In order for easier maintenance, it is recommended that the markup be commented where possible, including the CSS document, Typoscript, and HTML documents.
TemplaVoila is the recommended templating tool for WEC TYPO3 websites, and is what this documentation has been based on.
