Section 2: Changing the Page Template
WEC TYPO3 templates are made up of two components, a Page Template Structure (or in layman’s terms, the Template Layout) and a Template Design. The Page Template Structure determines where your content will be placed on the web page and the Template Design determines how it looks, for example: what color, what text style, etc.
Page Template Structure Example
Page Template Structures are illustrated in the back-end of TYPO3 with a thumbnail like the one to the left. The pink boxes denote areas where dynamic content may be placed. The white areas are un-editable parts of the template.
