I am trying to setup new BE users to edit content. I am finding that if a user is setup as a Content Editor, when they go to add/update a News item, the field Subheader is not visible. If I check the Admin field for that user, then it shows up. Is there a way to allow a Content Editor to have access to the Subheader field?
Thanks.

Hey Keith,
If you go to the record for a backend usergroup, there will be a field for "Allowed Exclude Fields". Despite the cryptic name, this list allows you to specify what optional fields that group is actually allowed to see and edit.
In the cast of the Content Editor group, there are actually several subgroups including one for News so you'll probably want to edit that "News" backend group.
Hope that helps!

Thanks Jeff - that did the trick. Now I understand better about controlling BE access also.
Thanks again.
