Hi, I've been following the directions for enabling the calendar frontend editing, and I cannot seem to get it working. I've included the static extension on the calendar page, I've changed the calendar constants in the template to allow it, and indicated the user name to be given access. I've followed every direction in the manual, and tried all suggestions I've been able to find on the internet. But no luck. Anyone have any suggestions of what I'm missing? I'm running typo 4.5.3 and the calendar in question is at http://www.brunswickumc.org/news-and-events/test-calendar/ Thanks for any insight! Chris Chidsey |

My best "guess" is that you're putting username in the Frontend Calendar Admin Users field. That won't work. You will need to use the user's UID. To find the UID, use the List Tool in the Storage Folder and mouse over a user's icon (the icon to the left of the username). A number will appear. That will be the UID. Put that in the Frontend Calendar Admin Users and you should be good to go. However, if that's not the issue I'm not sure what else the issue could be. Have you added the Frontend Views in the plugin? (Edit Event, Create Event, Delete Event, etc.) Also, you might want to try creating a Calendar Editing frontend group (note the UID) and then add that group to a test user (or to your own user account). Then update Cal's constants in the Constant Editor by adding the usergroup UID and removing the Frontend Calendar Admin Users.
