Welcome to the new forums. They are an improvement from our previous forum software -- let us know any questions or problems.
They use mm_forum plugin and we will be opening up new parts and configuring it even better within the next several weeks.
We look forward to hearing from you and continue serving you.

Thanks for getting the Forums back online! There's a little problem with the user login feature (site-wide), that that there doesn't appear to be a "forgot your password" function, and if someone enters incorrect credentials, they're not presented with any sort of error, but rather summarily dumped back to where they were, or even the Home page. Hope that's high on the list of things to fix.
Peace,
David T

Dear all,
today I recognized that my name after login isn't correct. Instead of "welcome, Tobias" it's written "welcome, Benjamin". When I check my profile, there is everyting fine. Please solve this bug.
Greetings
Tobias

David -- thanks for noticing that. Little oops there. The Forgot password is now there. Plus it should keep track of the page your are on.
Tobias -- that was an interesting bug that had to do with caches. Only effected the display, and did not compromise any user data. Now fixed.

Thanks, Dave. It appears that very few former forum users have found their way in here since the site changes, but maybe they're still waiting for the "dust to settle."
Peace,

Update: upon entering incorrect credentials, there's still no error message, but perhaps that's OK or by design?

David -- that error message now works and you will not be redirected. Thanks for letting us know about that.
Mark -- thanks for your encouragement!
Let us know how we can make the forums even better. We are using new software -- mm_forum -- and continue to improve it as we can.

I had set up my profile in the old *.com and *.org sites to be notified when new posts were made - I must have missed the announcement about transition to the new forums. I kept thinking that the WEC community had been awfully quiet lately - wondering if any others are in a similar state.
I like the look/feel overall. Hoping that the notifications work - they were my main way to keep up w/ what was going on. I saw a brief mention of an RSS feed, but wasn't sure how that tied into the forums or if it did. That would be pretty helpful if it's available.
Glad to be back, though. Looks like there's a lot changing with WEC and some exciting things going on.
