Is there a better way?

 Hi,

At the beginning of 2008 I started doing daily commnets to go alongside reading the bible in a year. This is nearly at an end, however I intend to do something similar, if not as regularly, in 2009 and I wonder if there is a better way of handling these comments within TYPO3.

Over this year I have used the blog facilities and entered my posts 7-10 days ahead of time on the blog, but timed to appear on the website on the correct date.

I have also copied my comments to a website that will send an email at a date/time that you program and these are again timed to be sent on the relavent date and are then forwarded to about 10 individuals.

In addition from time to time people post comments on the blog and these appear on the website and are forwarded to the same list of email addresses as above.

I am using a number of different facilities, both within TYPO3 and entirely externally. As I plan for 2009 is there a better way of doing this that would be fully integrated in TYPO3?
