I went to google and I have the API key. Where does it go? I have simple map selected under my plug in tab. The only map extention that I have in my extension manager is under frontend plug in.

Check in your Extensions setting under Loaded Extensions. Find the wec_map extension. Click on that. There should be a spot there in which to enter the API key.

Mark,

Please don't listen to Peter icon_smile.gif
In the backend, when logged in as an administrator, you should see the WEC Map Admin. In there is a section for the API keys (adjust the dropdown box if needed). It will autodetect the current domain, so just double check that it's correct, paste in the API key, and it should work.

Peter, thanks for jumping in all the time here and helping people out, I appreciate it!!

So close, but so far. icon_razz.gif It's been a long time since I've set it up. I thought that it was under the Extension settings - my apologies. (When in doubt, read the docs - I know....)

Thanks for the correction, Christoph.

No prob! I think it used to be in the extension config, but I repented and made it right.

Christoph,
Thanks for the help on the API key. It's been a while since I was able to get back to building the web site. I plugged the API key in, but I don't have a map showing up. I have WEC simple map selected for the plug in. Is that the correct plug in to use? I went through the map tutor and as far as I can tell I have everything correct.
