Play MP3 on the page?

I've got the SMS installed and displaying stuff. I've linked an MP3 resource, but a player doesn't show - just a link to the .MP3 file which when clicked downloads the file. I've seen examples, where a player controls are shown and you can play the audio file from the SMS page.

I've read the manual on setting up the resources but see no mention of the player...

How do I set it up with a player on the page?

Thanks.
Bob.

Do you have the Wec_Flashplayer installed and configured? I think that took care of most of my issues. There may be a configuration of the MP3 resource as well. I know that it worked for me. I just had to tweak the MP3 resource to allow a download as well as playing the MP3 online.

I do have the wec_flashplayer installed - I use it on another page to play a video so I know that it works. What tweak to the MP3 resource did you make? I've reviewed the documentation again and can't figure out what else I need to do to get the MP3 resource to show up with the player in addition to the download link.

Had to do some looking. We set our type to use both downloadfile and embedded_mp3 so the file could be downloaded or played. I think the vodcast may be the setting to check here.

Outside of this, I don't think I did anything really fancy. I pretty much followed the manual for setting up the sermon extension and it just worked.

#Podcast Settings - Sermon Storage == 104, Sermon Page == 78
podcast.10 < plugin.tx_wecsermons_pi1
podcast.10 {
CMD = XML
xmlView.enclosureType = embedded_mp3
#xmlView.enclosureType = downloadfile
pidList = 104
}
vodcast.10 < podcast.10
vodcast.10.xmlView.enclosureType = embedded_mp4

plugin.tx_wecsermons_pi1.listView.tx_wecsermons_sermons.description.crop = 4000|  ...|1
plugin.tx_wecsermons_pi1.xmlView.tx_wecsermons_sermons.description.crop = 4000|  ...|1

I have it working now - I just started over from scratch and reinstalled everything. I must have missed a step at some point during the install.

Thanks for the help!

Bob.
