Just started happening recently - probably as a result of using TinyMCE as my RTE, but it's hard to say for sure. If I go to my podcast link: http://www.mgbconline.org/podcast - I can view source on the page and I see all of the text, but I can't quite figure out why I'm getting errors now. I'm sure it's a configuration issue, but I don't know where to go to figure it out. If anyone has some ideas on where I can go to resolve the invalid XML, I'd appreciate them.

Thanks.

Follow-up to this, it looks like the actual truncation of the XML was controlled in the file:

typo3conf/ext/wec_api/static/itunes/setup.txt

I modified this and could control the truncation without too much trouble (should this be in the setup TYPOscript?). However, for some reason when using TinyMCE as my default editor, the generated HTML passed in to the CDATA[] command resulted in some unrecognized characters. I finally had to set the truncation of the description to some really small number of characters just to get this to show up in the Podcast feed. I'd love to get some ideas around this. When I used the podcast before, it mostly worked. When I changed over to TinyMCE, I started getting those diamonds w/ ?'s in them showing up near the line breaks. They don't seem to exist in the underlying HTML so I'm sure there's something else I'm missing.

Anyone have any ideas? Anyone successfully sharing out the Description / text in their podcast while using TinyMCE w/ no issues?

Hey Pete,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this one. The diamonds with question marks usually imply special characters that the browser isn't able to render due to character set issues. Are there pastes coming from Word that might be using curly quotes or something like that? If we can figure out if the missing characters are tied to any specific text that will probably help.

Thanks,
Jeff
