Among the sermon resources one can choose is a YouTube video. However, when I try to set one up, it doesn't seem to work. I get a dot on the sermon page, like I do for PDFs or mp3s, and blank space is created, but no resource or link to the resource appears. Any ideas? Thanks, Dudley |

I have used the SMS extension to display a lot of YouTube videos on my site. One thing that can easily be omitted is that the URL's have all been amended as below: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8zx1u1EtAE to: http://uk.youtube.com/watch/v/Y8zx1u1EtAE So I replace the ? and the = with / I also strip off any further code in the URL after the actual link itself. This has worked so far on all the YouTube videos I have used. Hope this helps. Sandy |

I tried this too but without success. I still have the dot and the blank space. I made this change: Original: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I08vVegBzGs Modified: http://www.youtube.com/watch/v/I08vVegBzGs Should that have worked? What now? Thanks for your help. Don Messenger |

Remove "watch" http://www.youtube.com/v/I08vVegBzGs and it should work fine. "Donald Messenger" wrote: I tried this too but without success. I still have the dot and the blank space.
