Hi
We have just installed the WEC starter package. It seems to have been done correctly. We do get the following error though
"The requested page didn't have a proper connection to the tree-root!"
The thing is, we can login to the site, we can see the whole page tree, but we can't click on anything to either work on pages and we can't get to view any of the actual pages
What may we have done wrong?
We are a small church branch in Bangkok, Thailand
Kind regards
Jaisamarn Church

Hi,
I learnt with try and error. Therefore I can't give you a solucion, only a proposal:
- login to the backend
- go to install
- make a "compare" of the database

Greetings Tobias

Thank you for the advice
Vi have 3 different "compare"
- Update required tables COMPARE
- typo3conf/database.sql (1.5 M) COMPARE
- typo3conf/wec_starter.sql (1.5 M) COMPARE

We continue to get the error message:

Changing fields
ALTER TABLE tx_realurl_uniqalias CHANGE tablename tablename varchar(255) default '';
Current value: varchar(60) default ''
- Specified key was too long; max key length is 1000 bytes

We have tried googling this error, but have so far not found an answer to be used

Suwanna,
Is there someway to get into contact with you?
Do you already have a website with an email-address?

Hello

We don't have a website other than this one we are trying to set up. Our small church can be contacted via email address jaisamarnnongchok (at) gmail.com

Best Regards

I'm guessing there's some php or some other server issue that needs to be reset. If you haven't run the WEC Server Checker, you might want to try that to see if it identifies an issue:
