We're looking for an easy way to create a worship resources database on our website for ministry areas to utilize. We'd have things like drama scripts, music resources, videos, etc. so that volunteers who plan worship services can log in and download files. Is there an extension that would help with this?
Thanks!

try DB Integration (ext key wfqbe). It's simple and very useful.

Funny, I was just about to post a very similar question about creating an online library of Adult Sunday school curriculum resources and reviews. I'll take a look at it.

Depending on what you're trying to do, you could possibly also do this with the SMS - categorize various resources and I think you can limit their visibility/downloads to those logged in. You could also just create a page that lists files in a folder and secure that page. There's something in TYPO3 that does this already and I've used it before for our newsletters. That's easier to maintain, but may not be as easy to search/categorize.
The DB extension can be useful, but is designed to interact directly with the database more than provide the actual files for download.
I haven't played around with any library-type extensions. We haven't had the need for that yet.

I would suggest using the sms extension. Instead of sermons, you could have lessons. Your units could be the series. With a little effort you would be able to create a great resource library for others to access. If you want to change things later, it shouldn't be too difficult. Just edit the templates.

Hi All
for the worship we are using "cornerstone_services" easy to install and simply working.
Amel Heyden has developed also one - unfortunately it wasn't working for us as we had other extensions already installed like required by this extension. But I guess if you have time you could simply modify this extension so that it works with the wec extension set. "ministrynetwork"
