(pi3) And see .. nothing. "There doesn't seem to be anything to display. Make sure the map is configured correctly and there are users or markers set. " I see, that there´s no geodata in the table "tx_wec_cache". I insert the geodata manually and I see the map with the marker. why doesn't work my geocoding? I have searched through the forums but none of the solutions have worked for my issue. Here are the steps that I have taken. 1) Installed the Maps Plug-In 2) Made sure the WEC-Map extension was installed 3) Obtained a Google Maps API and entered it into the WEC Map Admin 4) Ensured that the Maps API and Simple Maps Templates were included on the proper pages At this point I still have a pretty basic template site, it is using the default pages/structure that come with the standard install. When I bring up the directions page or the maps page they both appear to make room for the maps but nothing is displayed in the area. I've even tried creating an additional area below with another instance of the plugin. I set the width and height on this one to 40*40. The 40*40 area was created but once again it is a blank area. I believe that AllowOverride is an Apache (web server) configuration that needs to be managed on your behalf by your hosting service. If I am correct, the information your support person gave you is wrong. Don't worry, this is not uncommon and sometimes you just need to be persistent.

You probably need to know what PHP web applications your hosting provider does support. Do they support TYPO3 at all? If so, try to focus the conversation with hosting support on helping you ensure your account is fully set up to support TYPO3. If they don't support TYPO3 at all, you may need to become your own technical support, which is a bigger challenge, but still doable.

If your web hosting provider allows you shell access and you have access to create symlinks, the task of multiple upgrades is somewhat easier. The aforementioned tutorial includes a sketch for how this is organized. There are also instructions for which folders to delete and replace from the upgrade source if you want to do it that way. This site has a tutorial on upgrading to the newer templavoila template "skins". If you have the ability to create subdomains in your account, you may wish to back up your current site and do the upgrades to a non-public test site. This way, also, if any problems occur during some step in the upgrade your public site will not be affected until you've got any issues ironed out. I've included the static extension on the calendar page, I've changed the calendar constants in the template to allow it, and indicated the user name to be given access. I've followed every direction in the manual, and tried all suggestions I've been able to find on the internet. But no luck.
Anyone have any suggestions of what I'm missing? I'm running typo 4.5.3 and the calendar in question is at http://www.brunswickumc.org/news-and-events/test-calendar/
