Add Servant Matcher To Page

This tutorial will through how to add the WEC Servant Matcher extension to your site.

  1. First, you should go to your site and select where it will go. We will put it under the Learn & Grow section of the Starter package.

  2. Now, once you have selected the page to put it under, create a new page by clicking on the "Create new record" icon. Then select the "Page (inside)".

  3. You can unhide the page, although if you are just testing and it is a live site, you may want to keep it hidden. Then you can name the page in the Pagetitle - we will just call it "Serve". The alias is helpful too if you are using realURL.

  4. With the page added, you can add a storage folder. We would recommend one under the Serve page, although you can just the use the main Storage Folder of the site.

  5. To add a new Storage Folder, click on "Create new record" icon and select the "Page (inside)".

Select the Type as "SysFolder" and you can name it in Pagetitle with something like "Servant Storage Folder".

  6. We will now add the Servant extension to the page. When you are in the Servant page List view, click on the Page(TV). This is for TemplaVoila. If you are not using TemplaVoila, you can create it in the regular Page view.

  7. With the TemplaVoila screen, click on "Create new record" in the Main content section of the TV page.

Then choose WEC Servant Connector. Or you can choose PageContent element and then choose Insert Plugin and choose WEC Servant Connector.

  8. You will see the Servant Connector Pagecontent come up. You canfill in the Header field with something like "Servant Connector" for reference in the Backend. You can set the Type to Hidden so that the page title does not appear on the page.

Now the extension is added, and you can proceed onto the next step to setup the Options in the Flexform.
