Hide a Page Title in TV-Framework

There may be times when you want to keep a page's title from appearing in the Frontend. This tutorial will show you how to hide the page title, as well as adjust the white space around a content element.

  1. Login to the backend of your TYPO3 website. Using the Page or List module, navigate to the page you wish to change.
  2. Click on the Edit Page Properties icon.
  3. In the Extended Tab, change the Page Title as Content Header from Default to Off.
  4. Save and view your changes. The page title should no longer appear in the Frontend.

In some skins, the removal of the page title will result in the content elements crowding the menu, header, or feature. However, you can easily adjust the white space on virtually any content element.

  1. Return to the Backend and click on the Edit icon of the content element you wish to modify.
  2. In the General Tab, you can add the number of pixels to be used as white space in the Before and/or After fields (in the Type field). Typically 25 to 35 pixels is enough to separate a content element from the header.
  3. Save and view your work to ensure the white space is satisfactory.
