This is a key question and one that needs to be answered by the leaders in your organization. A given design communicates values and purpose. The design style should fit your church. If your church is a young church plant that caters toward twentysomethings, then the design style should reflect what would be attractive to them. If your church is an older congregation with the average age in forties or fifties, then a more traditional style will fit better.

We have a template viewer where you can see all of the templates we offer.  The templates come in a variety of styles from 3-column, 2-column, and either left or right sidebars.

After you find a template, you just need to know the name and color. Then, for most templates, you can just select them in the Backend of your website by following [these instructions].

If you want a different template than what what we offer, you can certainly use any design for a website. We here at WEC provide design services, or you can hire a design firm or someone who has web design skills. 

If you choose a WEC template that exists on your system, you can add it to your site.

If you choose a new WEC template that you need to import in, then you can add it through this method.

If you have an HTML template and need to convert it to TYPO3/WEC template, then your first need to upload the file, and then you can create a new template from it. 

If you have a WEC template, you may want to customize it to make it your own. You can add your own logo, add a picture, add text, among other things.
